Puttenhalli Lake

As of now there is no water in it. But its recently cleaned lake and is having its own people community to take care of it. Basically it’s a public private partnership so this lake will survive. There are two billboards explaining about some birds which are seen in that lake. Now that’s a nice initiative. To my surprise I did see some 3-4 types of birds which I don’t see often or might not have seen before. Some types of egrets/herons. Lots of information about this lake can be found at:

Avalahalli lake

This is a clean lake and is also having good amount of water body. Right now they are fencing this lake so hopefully there will be no garbage put in it. There is no way to make a footpath surrounding this lake so that people can go for morning or evening walk by lake side. I think that will be the next step.
